I've removed the exclamation mark, square and round brackets... nothing has changed :(

I'd appreciate it if you could send me a screenshot of what you've got.

    I played around with it some more. It seems that it's important to have a slash followed by a file name with the extension .gif at the end of the link—/NoMatterWhat.gif, /xy.gif, whatever.

    All three variants works, at least in the preview. Let's see, here are the lines from the screenshot above:
