Если вам придётся побывать в Санкт-Петербурге (Россия), то любой гид произнесёт это магическое слово - Петергоф. Это один из пригородов и пожалуй он самый известный и посещаемый туристами. Вы может добраться туда даже по воде.

И самым известным местом Петергофа и его визитной карточкой являются фонтаны Нижнего парка. КАждый год в конце мая проводится торжественное открытие фонтанов. Устраивается настоящий праздник. Но в этот день там слишком много суеты. Я даже не знаю, хотел ли бы я попасть в парк в этот день.

If you have to visit St. Petersburg (Russia), then any guide will pronounce this magic word - Peterhof. This is one of the suburbs and perhaps it is the most famous and visited by tourists. You can even get there by water.

And the most famous place of Peterhof and its calling card are the fountains of the Lower Park. Every year at the end of May, the grand opening of the fountains is held. A real holiday is being arranged. But on this day there is too much fuss. I don't even know if I would like to go to the park that day.

Но в любой другой день, особенно в будний, я люблю там побродить. Особенно хорошо там осенью, когда народу ещё меньше. Я не социопат, но в таких местах хочется больше тишины и уединения. И я покажу вам сейчас вечернюю тишину.

Конечно, можно осветлить эти фотографии, сделать их яркими как для инстаграм, но мне они больше нравятся в сдержанном варианте. Солнце ещё не совсем ушло за горизонт, но парк успел погрузиться в тень.

But on any other day, especially on a weekday, I like to wander there. It's especially good there in the fall, when there are even fewer people. I'm not a sociopath, but in such places you want more silence and privacy. And I will show you now the evening silence.

Of course, you can lighten these photos, make them bright as for Instagram, but I like them more in a restrained version. The sun has not yet completely gone below the horizon, but the park has managed to sink into shadow.

Это центральный каскад фонтанов. Обычно его изображение вы можете увидеть на туристических открытках. Там действительно красиво и захватывающе. Не на каждую площадку можно попасть, но и то, что доступно... нельзя объять необъятное.

Мы возвращались по верхней площадке вдоль стен дворца. Вечерело, ноги уже чувствовали каждый булыжник мостовой, но я не мог просто пройти мимо.

Эту панораму я делал без штатива, в темноте, дрожащими ногами...

This is the central cascade of fountains. Usually you can see his image on tourist postcards. It's really beautiful and exciting there. Not every site can be accessed, but also what is available... you cannot embrace the immensity.

We were returning along the upper landing along the walls of the palace. It was getting late, my feet already felt every cobblestone, but I couldn't just pass by.
