Playing Old Civ 6 - Day 5 Starting Point To Fight The Leaderboard

Hello Friends

I skipped playing Civilization 6 yesterday because I was too busy with my work. Today I have some spare time so today is the fifth day I am re-playing civilization 6 again.

What were my goals for today?

1. Get A New Military Based City
2. Get A New Wonder - Colloseum

Ok let see what just happened today:

I brought the topic of Japan into the world congress. They had been invading me using their Buddhism, and it was very annoying.

However I ended up losing in the voting. At least I knew who Japan Buddy was, however her Civilization was far from my region. The good thing was she had her own founded religion, so there was a limit where she would support Japan.

About the Colloseum, by a shear luck I finished it first before the other did that. I believed this was the turning point when my cities would be well supported with ammenities from this Colloseum.

I could say that they would get better than the others with a big margin.

I sent my Viking Longship to the west and they found a new continent there. We met Scotland but I had not enough time to wonder around the continent. It might take ten to twenty turns to get a grips of the continent shore.

I paid the Japs to let them opened their border. Even it was a limited time, I managed to measure their strength. I needed to be more careful because their civilization was larger than mine, they had more cities and all seemed to be equally built, not like mine which only had two very advance cities.

About the new city, I managed to get one and named it OSLO. I needed to build an encampment near Nagano, that would block any military path from the Jap to my region.

I believe today I have settled all the foundation and I need to fight for the next phase

The Next Goals

This time the goal will be completely different. I will no longer need to specify details anymore, because I will have to fight for the score.

This is the leaderboard I have today. My strongest score are on Culture and Religion, and my weakest point is military. So I have three episode I could do right now

1. Focus on military, regarding I have two military cities. I believe I could win the war against France. However this would let me to a situation that I needed to control a vast area.
2. Detour, try to build a cultural city. Somehow other civilization avoid it, so this should be the easiest one.
3. Fight for religion supremacy, this was my intent in the first time however I need to be realistic here.

My organic religion, Catholicism is the third, and far left behind from the first one the Eastern Orthodoxy which I haven't meet them yet. So if I want to continue this path, and most probably I will take this round, these are the points I need to do.

1. Try to convert France into my religion. It is the only way to start it, regarding they do not get their own organic religion.
2. Explore other region, seek an opportunity to build a remote city that could get more strategic resource.
3. Strengthen my army by adding 2-3 more units.
4. Try to win more city states

I only have one Suzerain City State, I need to get two more so I could get more resources and surpress other civilization growth.
