In this country, people are more accustomed to cars, there is a variety of motorcycles, but accidents are also quite common, perhaps that is the reason to pay more and buy a car, more security.
In big cities, people do prefer cars to motorbikes, but we who live in villages mostly use motorbikes as a means of transportation.
