Blizzard in Gryazovets

I once went to one of the villages of the Gryazovetsky district of the Vologda region, but I left too late and, passing by the district center, decided to give a second chance to Gryazovets. Last year, I somehow didn't have a good relationship with him, although, reviewing the photos from that shoot, I realize that it turned out well.

Even on the road, a snowstorm began and I realized that it was not worth going too far, and the Gryazovets snowdrifts seemed to suit me quite well.

Anyway, I stayed to walk around Gryazovets and take pictures of the snowstorm.

And the snowstorm has started so that it will be stronger than all the Vallies and Francies!

It covers up the tracks in just a few minutes.

Surprisingly, I found my favorite places in this city, and what is obvious to me, they are along the river Rust.

After the walk, I analyzed my route and realized that I hadn't explored many more places.

Therefore, I think that this is not the last visit to Gryazovets. I think we've become friends.

Gryazovets is slightly closer to Moscow than all other districts of the region, which means that there is a couple of centimeters more snow there (judging by Yandex maps, which shows the depth of the snow cover).

Visually, this amount of snow is felt, of course, more strongly than in numbers.

At times, the snowfall intensified so much that visibility dropped to fifty meters..

The photos do not convey the full extent of the heavy snowfall.

The snow sticking to my shoes made my shoes wet through and through.

And the snow was sticking not from above, but from below, as its depth became greater and greater.

During my walk, I had thoughts about what if the snowfall did not stop and was so heavy that I would not be able to leave here for home.

But the dreams did not come true...This is not Kamchatka.

In general, Gryazovets was pleased this time.

And it's not even about the snowstorm.
