Mezhdurechye. Vragovo

in CCS2 days ago

It's still February by the feel and look of it, but the calendar says it's spring. And I still have unexplored places in the Mezhdurechensky district of the Vologda region - the bear corner of the region.

Next up is the village of Vragovo, the most remote settlement, not counting the regional center. Remote from Vologda, of course.

I get out of the car and realize that I forgot my tripod at home...

It's a failure...in such darkness, I will not achieve high quality with my hands on a high ISO...it turns out that I drove in vain.

But the universe knows better, and it thinks everything through in detail, not like me.

Looking ahead, I would say that if I had taken a tripod, I would not have had time to travel around so many places and capture so many scenes.

The tripod slows down the shooting process at least twice.

And Vragovo itself turned out to be a bit boring, although there were interesting places.

There are old houses and even very old ones, as well as semi-detached barracks and even panel houses.

And all this is not scattered chaotically, but is divided into sectors (parts).

In one place there are old houses, huts, in the other - barracks, with panels between them.

There is also a height difference here. It is formed by the Malaya Kozlanga River between the villages of Vragovo and Sbrodovo.

In general, I have some views of this place, I have a general idea and a sense of the atmosphere of the place.

Apparently, the lack of a tripod was a quick realization that there was nothing much to do here.

But I honestly walked all the streets of the village!
