Remember this chili plant? What a massive transformation! Looking at the latest progress, I am genuinely amazed. This is a textbook example of a successful "Recovery Mission". By shifting from a passive setup to a more data-driven approach, we’ve completely turned the tide for this plant.


📈 Comparative Analysis (Then vs. Now)

The differences are night and day. Previously, the plant had only a single pair of tiny, drooping leaves and was stuck in a growth standstill. Today, I can count roughly 6 to 8 healthy true leaves that are growing perfectly and symmetrically. The leaves are broad and exhibit the classic pointed oval shape of a thriving chili pepper. This indicates that the nutrient absorption at 900 PPM is now optimal.


Technical Milestone: The deep green color and glossy leaf texture show high chlorophyll activity thanks to the Grow Light. There are no signs of nutrient burn or curling—meaning the plant is no longer under osmotic stress.


🛠️ The Path Forward: Maintaining the Momentum

Now that the plant has moved into the Active Vegetative Phase, here is the plan to keep this growth explosion going:
  • Maintain the PPM: We will keep the nutrients between 900 - 1000 PPM. Let the plant develop another 2-4 leaves before we consider bumping it up to 1100 PPM.
  • Monitor the Roots: With the Aerator running 24/7, you should see vibrant, white "fuzzy" roots reaching into the reservoir. Oxygen is the fuel for this rapid growth.
  • Adjust Light Distance: As the plant grows taller, we must adjust the height of the Grow Light to maintain a safe distance of about 8-12 inches (20-30 cm) from the canopy to prevent light burn.
