As December approaches, you will notice opportunists and corrupt practices. Motorists claim the transportation department will be anywhere, and accept bribes from drivers. There are many thieves flocking the crowded areas to look for their victims. Many beggars (especially parts of indigenous groups) go around especially in public transports where they beg for money. It's holiday season for them, also a season to make money illegally.

The Provincial Capitol Building faced the wrath of the typhoon. It's surroundings looked bad after the storm winds and storm surge. Trees has been cut down or uprooted. The building itself survived though.
