It seems our country has been experiencing the worst of disasters. During the second half of the year, we've had enough series of typhoons and earthquakes. Recently, certain parts of the country felt the tremor. Also, the strong typhoon was felt in Central Visayas, which also triggered flash floods.

Looking at the floodwaters in Cebu, you will notice its muddy color similar to a 3-in-1 coffee. Obviously, it came from the mountains, and we cannot blame the forest. Illegal logging happens. Even if it's legal, it's easy for the environmental department to give permit. Someone powerful might be at the back. Quarrying and mining destroy the mountains too. You can spot them by zooming in on Google Maps or Google Earth.

So it means, these disasters happen due to corruption as well. Not only the substandard flood controls rather corruption of the environment. Now, people becomes the victims.

The brother of our friend told us to go to the rooftop at the house in an elevated place. So there we go even it's tiring to climb.
