Hello Steemians,

I spent a wonderful day at the Festival of the Pomegranate in Testour a small town with a strong Andalusian soul and a big heart for its fruit.
From the moment I saw the welcome banner, I knew this visit would be full of color, music, food, and living tradition. Below I share the best moments and photos from my day.

Entrance : Artisanal Stalls Left & Right

When you pass the banner, a simple, lively path opens with permanent and temporary stalls on both sides local artisans and small producers showing their best: organic soaps, olive oil, jams, wool crafts, and pomegranate products.

Testour’s Mosque & Beautiful Doors

Before the festival opened fully, I walked through the town to see the famous mosque and the charming Andalusian houses. I took photos in front of colorful doors and quiet courtyards the architecture here tells stories of migration and memory.

Streets & Doors : Little Pieces of History

The narrow streets and painted doors made perfect frames for photos. Each door seemed to have its own personality and history.

People & Traditional Clothes

The festival brings generations together. I saw a young boy wearing jeba and an older woman wrapped in a safsari living pictures of Tunisian tradition.

Wool Crafts & Local Handwork

Skilled hands were spinning and shaping wool, creating items that will warm families and keep crafts alive. The tactile work felt like a thread connecting past and present.

Fresh Local Foods (Bread & More)

I saw vendors making fresh traditional foods warm bread and local pastries and selling pomegranate paste, olives, and other regional products. The smell was irresistible.

Freshly made traditional foods, pomegranate paste, olive oil, and red spicy pepper.

Issaouia : Music, Rhythm & Spiritual Tradition

One of the most moving parts was the Issaouia performance. The group’s drumming, chants, and spiritual songs created a deep atmosphere a moment where music and faith met and everyone listened.

Fresh Grenadine Juice & Fruit Everywhere

Of course I tasted fresh pomegranate juice cold, bright, and full of flavor. Stalls were full of the fruit: whole pomegranates, jars of paste, and other pomegranate products ready to buy and taste.

Festival Moments : People, Products, and Smiles

I took many photos of vendors, families, and the small cultural moments that make the festival special a child laughing, an artisan explaining, elders sitting in the shade.
