Camping at the mine
While visiting the old Mary Kathleen Uranium Mine and township near Mt. Isa in north western Queensland you can take the opportunity to camp there in the ruggedly beautiful surroundings. There is so much space to camp that you do not need to be close to fellow campers if you so wish.
