🏵️THE DIARY GAME 🏵️

The day was the 28th of Ramadan, and Eid was almost here. The workload tends to increase around this time. Usually, I wake up early and do physical exercises, but today I couldn't do that because of the extra pressure of work.

Since I will be riding my bike during Eid, I took it to the market to get it fixed. It was at a shop that my brother is familiar with, and we always get our bikes repaired there. So, my brother told me to take the bike there, and get everything fixed so that I wouldn't face any issues while riding after Eid. Following his instructions, I took the bike early in the morning, partly because bike repairs can take time, and with Eid just a day away, I wouldn't be able to fix it if I waited.

I showed the mechanic all the problems with the bike, and he started fixing them. I was standing by, watching. Then, it turned out that the bike's stand had broken, and it was something that he couldn't fix. He told me to take it to the welding shop next door and get it properly welded. I took the bike to the shop, got it welded beautifully, and brought it back. However, I didn’t pay the shopkeeper at that moment because I didn’t have any money with me. Later, I told the shopkeeper that my brother would pay, and he said that was fine. After everything was fixed, I brought the bike home, and now it feels like new.

After coming home, I went to the field and collected some onions. Since a lot of onions will be needed for cooking during Eid, I brought the onions home and stored them before Eid. We have planted onions on our own land, but comparatively, this year's onions haven't been as good. The other onions have been much better, but due to the lack of rainfall this time, the yield is not as expected. However, whatever we got, Alhamdulillah, I managed to bring a good number of onions.

After bringing the onions, I went to get the meat. In our village, meat is bought through a cooperative where people pool their money together. The meat is always of good quality because it is sourced from cattle slaughtered within our own community, ensuring 100% pure meat. After bringing the meat home, it is beautifully packed. This process took up most of the day.

After the Asr prayer in the afternoon, we all stood together and started chatting. Once the chat was over, we all went to a large Iftar gathering in the neighboring village. After reaching there, we sat down in rows, and the chairman of our Azimpur Union was giving a valuable speech. We all listened attentively to his talk. He discussed many constructive topics, and I really enjoyed listening to him. Since childhood, I have been a fan of his discussions, and I still listen to him. His way of speaking and understanding things is different from others, which sets him apart.

As soon as the speech ended, Iftar was served in an organized manner. The arrangement for Iftar was very nice. They served Teheri, and I had a half-liter bottle of water with me. The water bottles had been kept in the fridge, so they were really cold. It felt great to drink that cold water during Iftar.

After finishing the Iftar, we prayed in the mosque. After the prayer, the evening slowly began to set in, and a few of us started walking back home while chatting.

Overall, today was a very beautiful day. The joy of attending such a big Iftar gathering with everyone was immense. We had the opportunity to break our fast together and listen to important discussions, which made today truly special.
