When De boss invited me to be a groomsman at his wedding, I felt proud and excited because it was a big surprise when he asked me because I didn’t expect such, It was my first time being part of a wedding party grooms men fully, and I wanted everything to go perfectly.
A few weeks before the wedding, we had a meeting to plan our roles, the groom explained what we needed to do, like helping with decoration and welcoming guests, playing games, dancing and lot more, we also practiced walking down the aisle so we wouldn’t make mistakes on the big day.
On the wedding morning, we all dressed in our matching wears which was white senators with our ankara caps on the head, for the mens and the lady wear all blood gown. We looked like a team! This day was a filled with joy, excitement, the m.c of the event made so much joked that made people filled with relax and enjoyable, the ceremony took place in a big place filled with family and friends, when the event started, we walked in one by one, sitting proudly beside the groom.
The bride looked very beautiful in her white dress, and everyone cheered when they exchanged their rings, after the ceremony, we took group photos outside the environment, the photographer made us laugh by telling funny jokes, so that the pictures turned out great.
At the reception, there was dancing, music, and plenty of food, I even joined the other groomsmen in a surprise dance for the couple, which made everyone clap and laugh, before leaving, I thanked de boss for including me in his very special day because it is not easy.

Being a groomsman was a wonderful experience, it taught me the importance of teamwork and friendship, not just at work but in life, i will always cherish the memories of that happy day
