I live in the city of Bhaluka and here we have a municipal fruit market where all the fruit shops are kept together. No one can sell fruits outside or on the sidewalk here, this fruit market has been specifically set up so that all fruit traders can sell their fruits here. And we, who are fruit buyers, try to go to this specific municipal market and buy fruit. This has helped keep our city neat and beautiful because since these fruit markets are in a specific location, no one is randomly selling fruit on the sidewalk and the environment remains beautiful. Since I traveled there at night, I tried to show you the view of this fruit market from outside. This fruit market is located right next to our Bhaluka bus stand and has about 30 fruit shops together. This is the biggest fruit shop in our city and all kinds of fruits are available here together.

I like eating apples the most among fruits. Apples are very nutritious and taste great. Besides, my children love eating apples, so I try to buy apples from this fruit market whenever I get the chance.

Nowadays, there are many different types of grapes available in the market, but most of them are very sweet and taste great. I have seen such fingers being sold in large numbers in our market.

Oranges are another favorite fruit in our family. My daughter loves oranges and I try to buy them whenever I get a chance. She loves orange juice. We have a lot of oranges available in this market, which are absolutely fresh.

As I mentioned earlier, there are about 30 fruit shops here where several employees work together and the shop owners are directly present and manage their sales. I think they work very hard and constantly meet the needs of their customers. This municipal fruit market in our city is very well-organized and beautiful.

There is always a crowd of people here, since we have to eat fruit every day, so everyone tries to buy fruit from here. When I visited this fruit market, I saw a lot of people trying to buy fruit from here.

✓ How would you rate the variety and quality of the fruits and vegetables offered?

Almost all types of fruits are available in our municipal market. However, we expect more different types of fruits here, but not many types of fruits are available here. One thing here is that if a shopkeeper buys one type of fruit, then pretty much everyone tries to buy the same type of fruit, so there isn't much variation in the fruit here. If there were more variations of fruit here, customers might have had the opportunity to look at and buy more fruit.

✓ Are there any fruits or vegetables you would have liked to find at this store?

Almost all kinds of fruits are available here, but I really like oranges and I like medium-sized oranges the most. I couldn't find a medium-sized orange when I was traveling here today. Then I bought a relatively small orange and I got it at a fairly good price. However, I really liked the small oranges also.

✓ How was your overall experience at the store? Do you think any aspect should be improved?

Overall, I really enjoyed visiting this municipal fruit market and buying fruits. There is an abundance of fruits here, but even then, the shopkeepers are selling the fruits at very high prices. It really doesn't look good when something is readily available but still priced too high. Since fruit is not sold anywhere outside this municipal market, we are forced to try to buy fruit from this municipal market. Moreover, there is no system for paying bills through mobile banking or POS machines. If there was a digital payment system, it would be much better for customers. After visiting this municipal fruit market, I felt that two things need to be improved. Number one is the price issue. If the Department of Consumer Affairs monitors it, the price of fruit here will come down considerably. If the digital payment system is integrated here at number two, customers will be able to easily make payments from their cards or mobile banking services.
