Gafargaon Railway Station is a quite large railway station. Basically, all the people of Gafargaon use this railway station to travel to various destinations. Regular travel is possible from this station mainly between Mymensingh and Dhaka. Since the railway fare is quite low and there are various trains on a regular basis, this train travel has become very comfortable for people. Every time I've traveled to this station, I've noticed an overwhelming crowd of people. Although the station premises are not very clean, people still come and sit in this station premises to go to their destinations and travel to their specific destinations.

To be honest, Gafargaon Railway Station looks quite beautiful from a distance, so I tried to take this picture from a little distance. The atmosphere is quite beautiful as there are several trees above the station.

Thousands of passengers wait here every day for train travel. Several seats have been made here for passengers to sit. Even though there is very little seating here, everyone sits here and waits for the train.

As I was walking in the station yard, I suddenly heard the sound of a train and saw a train rushing towards the station.

Numerous people are already boarding the train that has entered the station premises. In Bangladesh, the number of passengers on trains far exceeds the number of seats, so people can be seen climbing on the roof of the train and on top of the engineer.

As soon as the train arrives at the station platform, people are trying to quickly board the train. Since the number of seats on the train is limited compared to the number of passengers, people are fighting to get on the train.

Here is the train fare for various destinations. Since trains in Bangladesh are a government service, railway travel is quite affordable compared to other forms of transport.

There is round-the-clock police presence here for the safety of passengers. A police outpost has been set up here under the supervision of the railway authorities and round-the-clock security is provided to the passengers.

The thing I like most about this Gafargaon railway station is that it has a drinking water system for passengers to drink. Here, an organization called Alo Pathi has taken up this great initiative and is constantly providing food and water to the passengers.
