SC-33/W1| "pot painting and crafting"

Hope you all are well. Today I’m sharing my take part in this lovely challenge.I really like giving old things a new look, so I took an old plastic pot and made it into a nice art piece by using colors and cutting paste.This project really helped me be more creative and I had a lot of fun doing it.

Equipment used

Old plastic pot
White, orange and black acrylic paint
Paint brush
The water
Scissors
Glue
Printed characters from Tom and Jerry
Varnish

Step-by-step procedure

I took an old black plastic pot and cleaned it well so that the paint would stick to it easily.

First, I painted a layer of white acrylic paint in the middle of the pot.

Then I used a brush to paint the whole area smoothly and let it dry completely.

After that I painted orange on the top and bottom edges of the pot to make a beautiful combination with the white.

When all the colors were thoroughly dry, I carefully cut out the cute Tom and Jerry picture designs.

I pasted these pictures one by one on different parts of the pot with the help of glue so that the pot looks attractive from all sides.

Finally, a light varnish was applied to the whole pot to preserve the color and design and also to give a beautiful shine.

After a few simple steps, my plain old pot turned into a beautiful and colorful Tom & Jerry themed decorative pot. I really liked its color combination and cartoon design. Now this pot will add more beauty to my living room decoration.

Was this my first time painting on a pot?

Yes, this was my first time painting on a pot.
At first, I felt a little unsure, but as I worked, my confidence grew.This experience let me learn new things.

Does working with colors make me happy?

Yes of course! Working with colors gives me peace of mind, happiness and a sense of creativity. There is great satisfaction when a simple thing takes a beautiful shape with my hands.
