Hello my fellow creative steemians,

While pondering creativity, I came across this creative challenge and chose to showcase my talent.

I haven't been consistent with this class because of some commitments I have. I finally found some time to play with paints, and it was enjoyable.

To start my work;

I got my needed materials ready.

• My jean
• Paint
• Brush
• Pencil

I started by placing my jean trouser on a clean and smooth surface. I went ahead to sketch on it using a pencil. I needed to achieve a certain curve which I did with my pencil.

The next step was using the paint on the jean. I started with the white colour, because that was the first step needed for me to achieve what I wish to create. The white paint came out so well at first that I didn't need to coat it more.

I went ahead again with the red color to make some small balls beside the curved line with white. I did it gently so I could get the exact shape without having to clean any error.

I started again with color yellow to make same shape beside the red color balls. I already saw the beauty and couldn't wait to snap it.

I also made some stroke across each balls using color green because I intend to turn it to a flower.

Here, I have started making the flowers already from here. They might noy look perfect, but it means a lot to me. The flowers were not to be so wow, but something to complement my sun flower.

After making the first stroke, I ended up making the second stroke with its suiting flowers and its pretty good.

Is it your first experience to painting on fabric (1 -mark)

Yes, this is my first time. I've never had the chance to paint on fabrics; it's always been on paper or walls, although I did miss that class.

However, this fabric paint has revealed so many possibilities for me. Today's experience was amazing and enjoyable. I wanted to capture every moment, so I recorded a video to document my process.

When I began, it felt like I might not finish, but I kept focusing on my vision, and in the end, I was not let down. From sketching to mixing different colors, it was such a delight. Even though it was my first experience, I feel really proud of myself.

Do you faced any kind of challenge during fabric painting??(2-Marks)

Yes, I did, but not very much. When I began the sketch, it was somewhat challenging; I had a hard time sketching on the jeans.

Also, while painting, I was unsure about what to create, but my main issue was figuring out how to hold my cell phone and choose colors that would enhance the artwork. During the painting process, I made a mistake, but it wasn't noticeable, and I slowly completed it.

Painting on fabric was a lot of work, but it was enjoyable, and I can't stop sharing the joy I felt from painting on fabric today. I was so eager for it to dry that I wore it to show off how beautiful it turned out.
