"Creative Writing "Surprise"

Human beings are one of the beings on Planet Earth that shows numerous emotions depending on the type of events they faced. Surprise is not left out as humans show their emotions based on nature either good or bad surprises. In most cases, it's always a good surprise. In this post, let's explore a fictional story based on the keyword surprise.

In a small city lived a girl called Mia. Mia was a young adult who relocated to this small city, ville in search of a greener pasture. Her parents wished her luck as she stayed in this town. On a normal day, she has to work in a tea shop which settles most of her bills. Despite that, she still feels lonely because she was a bit introverted and couldn't have much dealing with the people in this small town.

On a fateful day which happens to be her birthday, she just expected her day to be a normal one since she wasn't this social type of person. After coming back from the tea shop, she was puzzled on a written note on the front of her door. On the note, it stated "See you later". She was a bit shocked since she lived her life mostly on loneliness. Later, the answer came knocking on her door which she opened to see her childhood friend, Jason. She was overjoyed and welcomed him full heartedly. Ever since they were separated due to Jason's parents'work, Mia found it difficult to relate to others.

Jason opened his bag and brought out numerous gifts which made Mia's day. Jason later told her that he'll stay for a couple days before leaving and Mia accepted instantly. He invited Mia out and had a social gathering with other people. At first, Mia was nervous and shy but she mustered courage as time passed by. During the couple days, Jason went out with Mia at different times and Mia began appreciating social relationships and friendship. With time, Timid Mia became an extrovert overnight.

After the stipulated days, Mia waved goodbye to Jason as he left for his region. After some time, Mia discovered that Jason linked up with her parents and the issue of timidity was tabled. Jason had to make sure that the timid nature of Mia had to be eliminated. After knowing this, she wasn't angry rather she was grateful for her childhood friend who helped her social relationships. As life continues, she progresses with her social relationships hoping for true love.
