Covid For Christmas

We had a few visitors over for Christmas as you do. This year it included a visit from Omicron.

We’re not sure where it came from, but within 48 hours everyone in the house had all tested positive to having something. I wasn’t too alarmed or even that unhappy about it. After all if you have to catch one of the variants this seemed like the one to catch.

There was a period (less than 24 hours) where I was probably infectious but hadn’t got any symptoms yet. I went to the shops to pick up some stuff and I wore my mask about the village. It’s probably been the only time that mask wearing has felt appropriate. That night I tested positive.

NHS App

I diligently sent my results to the NHS, I want there to be good record keeping of this malarkey. The NHS replied with a long message extolling the virtues of its app. “Help support your community by notifying these individuals using the app”.

Family and friends were in constant contact to check how we were. It was sweet but made me really aware how certain folks have conceived an overinflated idea of the risks that this virus brings. People’s focus has been so directed and I hope further experience with the virus will lessen that fear.

As Moronic was spreading quickly over Christmas in the UK there were lots of people we knew who’d come down with it. I’m not sure whether people’s vaccination status was important. Maybe those of us "unvaxxed" had a worse time of it? My mate got a booster jab at the same time I got Covid. She told me she felt like she’d been hit by a bus. Her husband felt fatigued and achy all week after his booster.

Treatments

For me it started like a flu with a high temperature but then turned into more of a cold. I’ve had worse flus and I’ve had worse colds. Still, I’m not only over 50, but I have several comorbidities, however I chose to allow my immune system to respond.

In the UK there is no such thing as early treatment. There is no Ivermectin or HCQ to be got hold off. I even volunteered for the Oxford PRINCIPLE trial which is investigating Favipiravir, Ivermectin and standard NHS care as treatments.

Although TrialSite news has raised concerns about the trial. Plus we know the Bill and Melinda Gates are heavy funders of these types of programmes including the earlier RECOVERY trial. I wasn’t accepted anyway.

So I treated myself. I follow the Drs over at the FLCCC so I was aware of their treatment protocol. I was stocked up with Vit C. I’ve been taking 4,000iu Vit D3, I got in the zinc, Quercitin, Melatonin, Listerine and a saline nasal spray.

I now have antibodies in my system. Questions - Can I catch Covid again? Is there still a vaccination justification? Is this anybodies business?
