The Imperial Palace in Beijing// club5050
Greetings to my favorite Steem-Travelers community! Today I want to tell you about the summer imperial palace in Beijing.
This is an amazingly beautiful place with a park, where there are a lot of old buildings, pavillions, bridges and towers.
The garden, which is located here, was opened in honor of the mother of the Qianlong Emperor.
At the moment, the Summer Palace is under UNESCO protection and a commemorative coin has even been issued in honor of this palace.
To please the emperor, the summer palace was designed in harmony with nature and all the principles of Chinese landscape design were applied here.
Usually the emperor's family spent time in the Forbidden City, located in Beijing, but in summer it was very hot there and members of the royal family moved to the Summer Palace to enjoy the solitude, peace and beauty of this place.
Here you can see a large lake on which the island is located. You can take a ride on the lake in a national Chinese boat.
It's very picturesque.
There are a lot of summer gazebos here, and the decor elements are amazing. They can be endlessly observed. For sure, the emperor and his family were very happy here in the summer, because in general, it is terribly hot in Beijing in the summer.
And there is a lot of vegetation here, which is in great harmony with this place and contrasts with the stuffy city, where there are very few trees.
If you are in Beijing, be sure to look here, this place is worth a visit.
Good job friend 👏

thank you!
It is an interesting palace in China that would be worth visiting and like everything else in China built to a great size. It was built in the name of the Emperor's mother which makes its history much more interesting. Greetings and blessings.
hope i will be able to visit this place one more time one day)
Hi @alena-vladi
This post has been published in the latest edition of Steem Travel Magz.
❤🥰🥳
Beijing's houses, cities and the surrounding natural beauties were very interesting to me. The printing of commemorative coins made the area interesting. Besides, I guess everything was done to make the emperor happy. It also made sense for the family to come to the summer city from the Forbidden city. As you said, it is also very rich in terms of vegetation. Congrats, nice post
it is good to be an emperor:)
