We continue the competition by announcing the 21th edition and slightly changing the theme. We invite the winners of this edition, as well as new users to participate.

The theme of this week is:

The artist from your country


We all know Picasso, Frieda Kahlo, Oscar Wild, or Jon Bon Jovi, but how much do you know about the artists from Bangladesh, Nigeria, or Venezuela? Thanks to that contest we all will be able to educate ourselves a bit more.

Describe the trip to the local art gallery or simply write an interesting article about the artist from your country, presenting him/her to all of us. It can be the painter, musician, writer, poet, or even performer/actor. Make sure you use only photos on the Creative Commons license or your own. Also, mark properly every quote and source from where you took the information. The best publications should be informative, written in an interesting way, and enriched with great photos. Good luck, The most original entries will be awarded.

  2. Submit a post to the Steem-Travelers community and leave a link to your entry in a comment below.
  3. No plagiarism! Photos only yours or on CC license.
  4. One post from one participant for the competition.
  5. Post must be written in English or Spanish
  6. Invite at least 3 other users to the contest

Continuamos la competencia anunciando la 20a edición y cambiando ligeramente el tema. Invitamos a participar a los ganadores de esta edición, así como a los nuevos usuarios.

Viaje Deportivo


Todos conocemos a Picasso, Frieda Kahlo, Oscar Wild o Jon Bon Jovi, pero ¿cuánto sabes sobre los artistas de Bangladesh, Nigeria o Venezuela? Gracias a ese concurso todos podremos educarnos un poco más.

Describa un viaje a una galería de arte local o simplemente escriba un artículo interesante sobre el artista de su país, presentándolo a todos nosotros. Puede ser el pintor, el músico, el escritor, el poeta o incluso el actor. Asegúrate de usar solo fotos con la licencia Creative Commons o las tuyas propias. Además, marque correctamente cada cita y fuente de donde tomó la información. Las mejores publicaciones deben ser informativas, escritas de manera interesante y enriquecidas con excelentes fotografías. Buena suerte, Se premiarán las entradas más originales.
