We continue the competition by announcing the fifth edition and slightly changing the theme. We invite the winners of this edition, as well as new users to participate.
The theme of this week is:
People you met while traveling
This week you have the opportunity to write about the people met while traveling. Share with us any interesting story from your trip you like. Maybe you have met some other backpackers on the way, or you became friends with your couchsurfers? Did any of that friendships survive until now? Maybe someone spontaneously joined you while traveling, helped you on the way, or made your trip a nightmare (yes, you can write about unpleasant meetings too). Did you have the opportunity to volunteer on workaway with a great host? Every story counts - you can write about anything you want. Remember that in this contest the text is more important than photos, but your chances to win increase when you include good quality pictures.
Rules of the contest:
- Minimum 250 words
- Submit a post to the Steem-Travelers community and leave a link to your entry in a comment below.
- No plagiarism! Photos only yours or on CC license.
- One post from one participant for the competition.
- Post must be written in English or Spanish
- Invite at least two other users to the contest

Esta semana tienes la oportunidad de escribir sobre las personas que conociste mientras viajabas. Comparta con nosotros cualquier historia interesante de su viaje que le guste. ¿Quizás has conocido a otros viajeros en el camino o te has hecho amigo de tus couchsurfers? ¿Alguna de esas amistades sobrevivió hasta ahora? Tal vez alguien se le unió espontáneamente mientras viajaba, lo ayudó en el camino o hizo de su viaje una pesadilla (sí, también puede escribir sobre encuentros desagradables). ¿Tuviste la oportunidad de ser voluntario en workaway con un gran anfitrión? Cada historia cuenta: puedes escribir sobre lo que quieras. Recuerda que en este concurso el texto es más importante que las fotos, pero tus posibilidades de ganar aumentan cuando incluyes imágenes de buena calidad.
Reglas del concurso:
