Hidden Paradise | The best place to unwind.
Hello travelers! How are you today? I hope you are all fine.
Bantayan Island Cebu is located in northern Cebu the island is known for white sand, clear beaches, and a variety kind of seafood. One of the attractions in the Island is the "Virgin Island" the locals called it Virgin Island because of the white clear sands.
The Virgin Island is one of the islets of Bantayan Island if you want to go you must rent a pump boat that costs you 3000 pesos or 60 dollars it depends on the group. Once you arrive at the island there will be an entrance of 100 pesos or 2 dollars per person.
A lot of activities you can do on the island, you can do snorkeling, cliff diving they also offer some rooms if you want to stay overnight. The place is so peaceful because there are no sounds of any form of the vehicle only the sea breeze and the sounds of the waves. I must say this is the best place to unwind for solo or group travelers.
Keep safe. Keep traveling. Keep wandering.

Hey @monsiou. Truly paradise, thank your for you images and traveling post. It looks like Cebu and Cebu City is a good place to come and stay for a month or two. Thailand prefers wealthy travelers and getting less friendly from the point of visa policy. Maybe more digital nomads and expats will spend their time in the Philippines instead in future when pandemic things will be sorted out somehow. I heard it is easy to extend visa... And everybody has heard about the beauty of the Philippines. A big country so many places enough for half a year of slow traveling.

250 000 USD for the opportunity to retire in Thailand? Oh, wow. I guess the country will have an exodus of foreigners now. I might be wrong, but I can imagine many other countries around welcome elder immigrants for much less, if for anything. Also, while having an extra 250k, I'd rather stay in my own country and just make many trips to interesting places, including beautiful Thailand or equally beautiful Philippines.
That's right. There can be many reasons for this attitude. But generally the answer is that the political power in Thailand has been seized by morons. :) The country is ruled by an authoritarian usurper prime-minister. All such regimes prefer closing the borders.
I am impressed with how clear the water is on Bantayan Island. You did great with these beautiful photos! :)
It's not the first time you show the beauty of the Philippines and, naturally, it's related to many wonderful, tremendous islands & beaches. I was wondering... is living in a country made of hundred islands motivating people to learn how to navigate the boat? I mean is it a skill as common as driving a car?
I know that nobody is forced to know it. Most cities are located on three-four islands, there is organized transport, et cetera, but cannot stop wondering if locals are motivated to explore the smaller islands on their own or if it's not really a thing.
Silly curiosity ;)
Looks like a beautiful beach!
Wow this is a beautiful place..
