Since 2022 there has been a weekly activity that is always open from morning to late afternoon in Lhokseumawe City, the activity has become the largest snack center involving many traders and the community.
The name of the weekly activity organized by the Lhokseumawe city government is the Ahad Festival, to is a promotional event for Micro, Small, and medium enterprises in the field of food. As well as being a center for community gatherings with family, filling weekend mornings.

- Activities = Local food pastry Center, and promoting micro, small and Middle business performers.

Sunday activities This Festival is specifically opened on Sunday by utilizing the location along Teuku Road Hamzah Bendahara, Banda Sakti, Lhokseumawe. Hundreds of small and medium business traders explore the food and drinks they sell, under a small size tent that has been provided by the Lhokseumawe city government.
Various types of food such as wet and dry cakes, fried rice, and Kebuli rice, various variants of noodles, bread, salads, fruits, and other foods are available at this place. Likewise with various types of drinks, such as Teapot tea, coffee, fruit juice to other processed drinks.

The price varies according to the type of food and drink offered, and of course, the taste also varies. As far as my observation that I have dozens of times come to Ahad Festival, the price of all food ranges between IDR. 5,000 or equivalent to 2 Steem, up to IDR. 100,000 or equivalent to 40 Steem.
With a safe and spacious parking area, visitors who use vehicles can park their vehicles in some areas of the Islamic Center Lhokseumawe with a parking fee of IDR. 2,000 for two-wheeled vehicles, and IDR. 3,000 for four-wheeled vehicles. Its value is equivalent to 0.8 Steem for two-wheeled vehicles, and 1.2 Steem for four-wheeled vehicles.
In the end, for newcomers who want to fill the weekend off time. You can directly come to Ahad Festival which is only open on Sundays, get an interesting experience enjoying food and drinks, and a festival that has a Car Free Day concept.
