The Diary Game [23/04/24] : Attending a church service and meeting friends

Dear diary,

I am writing to you once again on how my Sunday went, it was an interesting one as i received a lot of good news which I will share with you once again.

It is a sunny Sunday morning and the sun respected the name of the day as it is called, it's another day to move for a church service and we were preparing hurriedly into to beat the time, in church we work to time and service starts by 8 while the workers class begins by 7:30. You know how fast time runs, as we know time waits for no man, it seemed like it was forwarded cos we saw 6:50 then it flashed to 7:30

We didn't have much time as we moved hurriedly waiting for a vehicle to board to church, luckily we found them and we arrived at church, we were a bit late but we met up with things, we were 10mins late and people already filled the church hall, they really kept to time.

The service was on as we joined in all the activities in church, we joined in giving praises and worship to our father as we clinged our heart to his promises which we got from the book of Psalms chapter 85 verse 12

We ministered a song to the church as it was a known song, and they all joined in praising God. It is always a thing of happiness to see people do things for God with a genuine heart filled with love. We sang hymns and also prepared to hear what the preacher of the day had for us.

Carefully listening to word and deriving enough lessons from it, the message was mainly on faith which many Bible characters had possess this virtue, the character known for faith was Abraham, he loved God and believed totally on him. He didn't only have faith in him but also trusted and obeyed him, he even accepted to sacrifice his only son. We were told to have faith too when we are in difficult situations we should always believe that things will get better and hold on to Jesus.

After the service we had a little meeting because we had an important event in church next week Sunday, we had a wedding to host and it is one of our members, so we made plans to back him up fully.

It is always photo shoot session after every service and I decided to have a picture of myself, I was always in the step of taking people photos but I made it an inverse today. My pictures are always filled with photos which I will deliver to them before the day runs out so they can post on their social media platforms.

	Meeting with a steemian friend after service

I met with a steemian friend after the service, he is @eddiemalachy on steemit, we had things to do, we took enough photos later.

I already promised to visit my friend who had an accident, and here I am to redeem that promise. Last year November she was involved in an accident between a motorcycle and a tricycle which made her bleed profusely and she was taken to a pharmacy, after stopping the bleeding the pharmacist noticed that the bone cracked so she was transferred to a hospital for a better treatment and care. She stayed for months in the hospital and was released some months ago.

She's now able to take some steps which means she will recover fully after some months. She was really happy when we paid this visit as we engaged in enough conversations to keep her happy, it's not a good good condition to be in.

After sending much time there, I went home because I had a football match to watch, it was a game between Manchester united and Coventry, an Emirates FA cup semi final, as a Manchester united fan i was already happy for their lead, they scored two goals already and i hurriedly reach the viewing center sitting in front. Manchester united scored another goal which made it a three nil lead, we never knew the game will turn around in 20 mins, we were aware thought due to how tricky their game play was and they made an equaliser to qualify for the semi's.

There was a twist and all we could see in the screen was a draw game, from a 3:0 lead to a 3:3 draw, they bottled their easy win. They even scored a last goal which was ruled for an offside. The game went to extra time then penalties which Manchester won by penalties.

It was really an eventful day for me.
