The Diary Game: My Food Blog(08:04:2026)

Hello Pookies, @inemghurrl back here again. I want to try out something for the first time here and that's sharing a blog of my meal. This isn't something close to new recipe, it's a regular meal eaten in most homes but for the love of Steemit, I decided to capture every detail so I could write about it so stay with me while I bring it on. Today, while at home and away from all the noise and stress of being a student, I decided to make a meal I've been craving for over a long time now so I walked down to my saving box and took four thousand naira out of it and headed down to a store to buy some ingredients.

I met a little girl who couldn't attend to me when I got to the store so I asked about the owner of the store and she responded by saying she had stepped out to use the convenience and would be back soon so I waited for a while so the shop attendant would return and in no long time, she returned and attended to me. I read out the items I had listed out which were fresh tomatoes, plantain, fresh pepper, onions,and eggs. she brought them all, told me the total cost of the items after making her calculations and I made payment by transfer, waited for a confirmation before going home. I got home and boiled the plantain and while the plantain was cooking, I chopped onions, fresh tomatoes and grinded the pepper and got them ready for use.

I whisked the eggs before taking down the pot of plantain and drained out the water before turning it into a tray. I placed a frypan on fire, added vegetable oil and a pinch of salt after the oil had heated up. I added onions, chopped tomatoes, seasonings and gave it a quick stir. I added the whisked eggs and allowed it to steam, I gave it a little stir and allowed it steam for some minutes and when I noticed the egg was properly cooked, I put off the gas and served the meal.

I couldn't eat the meal without having a soft drink right beside me to make it more appetizing so I went out and bought a can malt which served as a soft drink to step down my meal. I ate the meal just the way I had planned to and forgot to remain some for my brother but there was no need feeling guilty about it cos no one would know as all the evidence and traces will be erased and wiped off, hope that doesn't make me selfish or greedy? I washed all the plates and made sure the kitchen was in order before taking a nap. Thanks Pookies, byyyyeeee.
