The Diary Game: Saturday Laundry And Cooking 31-01-2026

Hello, ladies and gentlemen of steemit, it's your friend @joychi102 and I am right here to share how my weekend was like, I hope you will enjoy reading this.

When I woke up in the morning, I took detergent, fetched water and told my kids what to do as their chores. When I finished giving them orders on what to do, I left and went outside and began to wash the clothes. Saturdays, normally are for laundry.

When I finished washing the clothes and drying them outside, I took the small tea my daughter drank and remained and then I drank it and took my bath then took the cash at the dining to go to the market. I told my hubby that I needed money to buy food items to come and cook so that I could save some in the freezer. When I got to the market, I met few traders outside the market selling, I bought few things from them before going inside the market.

When I got inside the market, I bought okra and meat, I bought other things that were in my list and then when I exhausted everything, I came back home to come and cook. When I got back to the house, I removed the okra I bought and washed them in the sink.

When I finished washing the okra, I chopped it and after that I steamed the meat and fish with the stock fish I bought and then prepared delicious okra soup. I did all of these by myself. When I finished, I ate the food, kept my kids own on the dining table then I went out to go give my husband that was in the shop alone food.

When I got to the shop, he was trying to select crayfish, I took it from him and asked him to go and eat inside while I selected the crayfish for him. When I finished selecting the crayfish, I started measuring them and then when my husband finished eating eating, I took the plates to the backyard to wash then came back to the shop to help him with customers till the food digest.

As we were in the shop, there was this young boy that was selling local fowl, he came to pass in the shop and my husband called him and wanted to price him, he told my husband that someone else had paid for it already and he wanted to go and give it to the owner, it's been so long we ate local fowl.

After we stayed till 7 in the evening, I told my husband that we needed to close to that we can go back home to rest, I helped him and we packed things inside then we went back home to go and rest. I couldn't share my Saturday experience but here it is.
