The Dairy Game: Fresh Palm Wine Scoop And Going To Buy Fish For My Boss(17-03-2026)

Hyy besties it's your girl kemkem1.This morning, when I woke up, I came out of my room to get ready for work, but as I stepped outside, I saw some of my neighbours sitting together behind the lodge. They were gathered around a white bucket filled with fresh palm wine that an old man living behind our lodge had tapped very early in the morning. The palm wine was inside a bucket with a small cup used to fetch it, and they were all happily drinking and chatting. One of my neighbours called me and said I should come and taste it because it was very fresh. At first I said I was preparing to go to work, but the way they were enjoying the drink made me change my mind. I went closer and greeted them, then they gave me a cup of the palm wine. When I tasted it, it was very sweet and fresh, even though it was not cold. They said palm wine is always best when it is chilled, but this one was still very nice because it had just been tapped not long ago. We all stood there talking and laughing while drinking small, small because everyone still had something to do that morning. After some time, I remembered that I was getting late for work, so I went back inside, finished preparing, and then left for my workplace feeling happy.

On my way to work this morning, I stopped by the roadside to buy some fresh fried potatoes. When I got there, the woman was still frying them, and the smell was so nice. I really love eating potatoes when they are hot, so I was happy that I met her still cooking. If I was not in a hurry to go to work, I would have sat there and eaten it immediately while it was still very hot, but I didn’t want to be late. So I told her to put it in a takeaway for me, and I quickly continued my journey to work. When I arrived at my workplace, I met everywhere neat and tidy just the way I like it. Not long after I settled down, I saw that I already had a patient waiting for me, so I quickly attended to the woman without wasting time. Since she was the only patient at that moment, I finished my work early. After attending to her, I remembered the fried potatoes I bought in the morning, so I quickly brought it out to eat before it would get cold. It was still warm and very sweet, and I really enjoyed eating it because I had been craving hot fried potatoes since morning.

After eating my potatoes, my boss sent for me. Immediately I heard that she was calling me, I started wondering what the problem could be. Omo, let me not lie, my heart was beating very fast because I was thinking that maybe I had done something wrong without knowing. I just stayed calm, summoned courage, and went to her office. When I got there, she told me that since there were no patients for me to attend to at that moment, I should please go to an address she gave me and help her buy dry fish. That was when I relaxed and my mind became free, because I was already thinking of many things that were not even true. The place she described was not easy to find, so I had to ask people for directions before I finally located it. When I got there, I bought the dry fish she asked for and took it back to her. She was very happy that I got the exact one she wanted, and she said I made the right choice. She then gave me some money for transport, and guess what, I collected it happily and went back to work. After several hours, it was finally closing time, so I packed my bags and headed home.

On my way home, I stopped to buy a passion twist extension because I already have plans to braid my hair this weekend. I am honestly tired of carrying my natural hair like this, so I felt it was the right time to change my look. After buying the extension, I went straight home without stopping anywhere else. When I got home, the first thing I did was to take my bath, which was very important because the heat these days is something else. After showering, I went to the general refrigerator in the kitchen to bring out my soup so it could defrost. I knew it would take some time before it became soft, so I decided to use that time to type my reports for the day. I just hoped that by the time I finished, the soup would be ready, and that was exactly what happened. As soon as I was done, the soup had defrosted well. I warmed it, made garri, and ate my food peacefully. After eating, I rested my body because I was already tired from the day’s activities. Later in the evening, I started making plans and organizing things for the next day before going to bed.
