The Dairy Game: Going To Buy Tomatoes, Cooking And Visiting a Furniture Outlet (02-03-2026)

Hi besties my name is Ekemini Edet and my username on steemit is KemKem1. I’m back again to share how my day went, and honestly, it was a good one. I hope you all had a lovely day too. I woke up in the morning and stepped out to buy fresh tomatoes, pepper, and onions from a booking man who always sells at a very good rate for me. After buying them, hunger hit me seriously—I was very, very hungry. So I stopped by to buy puff puff and a bottle of Fanta. I wanted chilled mineral, but none of the shops on our street had cold drinks, so I just bought water instead. I was already tired, so I didn’t stress myself searching again. I took a bike back home. When I got home, I ate the puff puff and drank my Fanta. After that, sleep was calling me. Since I wasn’t going to work and the house was very hot, I spread my mat on the floor and rested my head. 😌

When I woke up, I knew I had a lot of things to do, but I was already feeling very tired and exhausted, and I didn’t even know where to start from. I decided to push myself and do the most important thing first, which was cooking coconut rice. I stood up, broke the coconut, scraped it, and boiled water to extract the coconut milk very well. After that, I prepared the ingredients for the rice, which included dry fish, onions, plenty crayfish to make it spicy, and the coconut water. I cooked the rice carefully and made sure it came out tasty and yummy. After cooking, the kitchen was a bit messy, so I cleaned everywhere and made sure everything was neat and tidy. I also washed all the utensils I used and kept them properly. When I was done, I ate a little even though I didn’t really feel like eating, but I had to manage because I was already hungry. While I was cooking, I received a call that I should come to work the next day, even though I wasn’t supposed to work, and that spoiled my mood, so I didn’t really enjoy eating, but I still tried my best to eat and rest.

Just after eating, one of my aunts who lives in another city called me. She explained that she was setting up her new apartment and wanted to buy some furniture, but she was not sure about the shop she found. She asked if I could please help her visit the place to check the authenticity and availability of the furniture. Even though I had just finished eating and was a bit tired, I agreed to help her because I understood how important it was to make the right choice for a new home. I prepared myself and went to the furniture shop she mentioned. When I arrived, I carefully looked around the shop and checked the different furniture items on display. I paid attention to the quality, finishing, and prices so I could give her correct information. I also asked the shop attendants some questions about the furniture. To make it easier for her to see everything clearly, I used my phone to make short videos of the furniture she was interested in. I then sent the videos to her immediately. She was happy and appreciated my help, and I felt good knowing I had assisted her in making a better decision.

After I sent the videos to my aunt, she was satisfied with what she saw. She later sent the money and went ahead to purchase the furniture. The shop arranged the delivery, and the furniture was delivered to her successfully at her new apartment. She called to inform me and thanked me for my help, which made me feel happy and fulfilled. After everything was settled, I started my journey back home. The road was calm, and I felt relieved knowing the task had ended well. When I finally got home, I decided to do a little work before resting. I had some tapioca at home that I wanted to prepare. I brought it out and got my knife and bowl ready. I then proceeded to slice the tapioca carefully, taking my time to do it neatly. It was a simple activity, but it kept me busy and relaxed. After slicing it, I showered, ate my rice again and slept. Thank you for reading.
