THE DIARY GAME: MY EASTER RUINED, GUESS WHAT HAPPENED [05-04-2026]

Hello everyone, and welcome back. This is @knarfb, and I'm glad to have you here for yet another diary session. Wishing you all peace and blessings.

Easter Sunday "MASS" began by 7am sharp. I slept late last night so I didn't exactly wake up early to prepare for church. I was at the bus stop by 7am searching for a vehicle. I found one few minutes later.

Me inside a KeKe going to Church fully aware l was late already. My sister even left me and went to church she didn't want to be late with me. Today was EASTER and she definitely don't want to be late. By the way l bought that shirt yesterday. My first shot for the day for my steemit friends.

On the road going to church the KeKe l entered broke down which was frustrating. The KeKe driver parked at one side of the road. To troubleshoot the problem. This took few minutes of my time. Which made me more late, I was really annoyed but couldn't blame anyone but myself.

I arrived at church during the"GLORIA" HYMN, I had to sit at the back sit today closed to the church instrumentalists and singers. Mass was okay it went fine after mass ended the Bishop gave us his blessing and wished us a "HAPPY EASTER".

After mass l went to buy okpa from a shop then took house keys from my sister and went home from there.

I got back home around 9:30am or so. Immediately l entered the house l removed my clothes and warmed food. But I didn't eat it instead l went back to bed. My sister returned from church around 12pm. And that when we started our own celebration.

She returned from shop with cooking ingredients and some carrots she obviously stopped at the market before coming home.

I had to wash plates before the cooking started, this was us cooking our own Easter food, our style of celebration. My dad didn't celebrate Easter with us he travelled and hadn't returned back home yet.

After cooking we eat out yummy food.

This was the end result of our cooking, we drank coke while eating the food. While eating we planned to hang out this evening. We were both anticipating before the unexpected happened. After eating our phones got low and we decided to drop the phones and rest while resting they brought light and the next minute we found ourselves fast asleep. The sleep was intense like we slept by 5pm and woke up by 9:15pm, and that was how our plans the hangouts just got cancelled for the day. When we woke up. We both just laughed it out. But deep down l was pained. I really wanted to go out at least to leave this neighborhood and explore some where else.
Well, that has passed already l hope for a better day to come. Tomorrow is Monday and our daily activities begins and the Easter holidays are over. My sister would be resuming back to work and I will be going to shop as usual. I guess after sleeping in the evening to sleep back at night would be difficult very difficult. I brought out my phone to play games, the network here wasn't even nice to me. I just had to play games to keep myself occupied. That was that how sleep ruined our Easter together. Our big head's slept like babies. My sister prepared night food for us we ate and returned to our activities. I returned to my bed wrote for my steemit friends and waited for sleep round 2.0. So, guys this is where will draw the curtains.
