Manchester City 🩵 3 - 0 Crystal Palace 🦅. Full-time score
Manchester City secured a brilliant 3-0 win over Crystal Palace on 13th May, 2026. Manchester City were dominant throughout the whole match even though Crystal Palace tried to pull some pressure on them but City were resistant and were able to secure the whole 3 point against Palace, closing up the gap to 2 point against Arsenal.
The match kicked off by 8:00 pm WAT and City started slowly before in the 32 minute when Foden sparked the attack with a wonderful backheel pass to Semenyo who found the back of the net to put city in front and shortly after, in the 40th minute Marmoush added the second goal by yet another assist from Foden. The match ended 2-0 in the first half. The second started and City remained dominant throughout and the second half substitute Ryan Cherki setup the third goal for Savinho who buries it at the back of the net and City sealed the win with a 3-0 win and were able to close up the gap between them and Arsenal and also top the goal difference chart on the table. Foden was brilliant in the match and ended up being named the man of the match, the whole team played well even though some big players were dropped to bench but City played as if they didn't drop any player. Big names at City like Erling Haaland, Jeremy Doku, Ryan Cherki and co were all dropped. People praised Pep for how rotated the squad and they still displayed a brilliant performance against Crystal Palace. Manchester City are actually doing well against opponents as they chase down Arsenal for the Premier League trophy. City are still giving a positive heads up even after drawing their match against Everton as they believe that they still haven't lost the league as far as the league isn't yet over.
Ahead of the Saturday clash against Chelsea in the FA Cup Final, maybe this might be the reason for Pep dropping some of his big players against Crystal Palace. With this form they might be able to defeat Chelsea on Saturday, 16th May, 2026 in the final. City are really showing great spirit, even though they are chasing Arsenal for the title, they also see the FA Cup as top priority and a must win game. Chelsea are also preparing for the game as they see it as the chance for them claiming a trophy even at their recent poor performance. This FA Cup Final would be a very heated match but surely one team must triumph as the champion. Who do you think will triumph as the champion of this season’s FA Cup??
