As of March 4, 2026, The conflict involving Israel, Iran and the US escalated into a major regional war. after a series of retaliatory strikes. Targeting nuclear infrastructure, missile launchers, government buildings, and leadership compounds, Israel and the United States, launched joint strikes on Iran, leading to the conclusion that Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and other top military officials were killed. In response to this, Iran now launched ballistic missiles and kamikaze drones at Israel and anything belonging to the US in its vicinity; military installations across the Middle East, including Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.

A British military base located in Cyprus became the target of a kamikaze drone because the base is said to be used by US forces to attack Iran. Bringing in additional participants in the escalating conflict.

This has also affected a French naval base in the United Arab Emirates. It suffered minor damage after an Iranian drone struck it. This shows that Iran is not afraid of multipling their oponents in this war.

China, which for long has not involved itself in regional struggle is bring staffed of its regular oil supply as Iran blocks the Strait of Hormuz, this move is affecting China, which depends on oil that travels through this location.

Russia and its activity in Ukraine is no longer headline news anymore because of the war with Iran and the killing of Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has removed one of Russia's strong supporters.

Did you notice the strategy employed by Iran, they started retaliatory strikes with old outdated bombs which made them look weak while in reality, they were depleting the isrelis air defence. Once the air defence started running out of its supply, Iran started using advanced cluster bombs that fragments in to smaller units and later used hypersonic missiles that could evade interception and still locate its target.
