The Diary Game: Plaiting My Hair And Attending Picnic. (24-1-2026).

Hello everyone, my name is Purity Okon, user name on steemit it @ purityy. Today is Saturday and weekend, you know what that means, it means rest, enjoyment, washing, cleaning and fun, so I didn't let today pass me by, I have to enjoy to the end, waking up this morning with so much excitement because am going out, you know the feeling, our church fellowship organized a picnic for us to connect as families, I had my personal prayer today to pray so I was indoor till midday, it was like a fasting, after the fasting, I brush my teeth, eat and bath. I did not do much this morning because my cousin is around, so she helped out. My hair was rough, and there's no how am going out tattered, all my crush will laugh at me nah, God forbid.

I need to look hot you know, so I loose my all back weaving done by my course mate, Omo! That girl really helped me, I finish loosing the hair, wash it before going to salon, because i didn't want to spend much, we are managing our lives, I finish washing the hair and left to the salon, but people were much I had to come back home because I couldn't wait and the salon is closed to my house. I was waiting at home when our fellowship vice president called she is a lady, she asked me to come joined them cook, I declined oooo, because if I go there I wouldn't make my hair again, thank God I follow my heart because they finish cooking very late. After a while I went back to the salon again and she was not still done, I had to check another place because I have somewhere to go, and it was getting late.

I went to the second place and she was free, I had my extension already, so I didn't buy, though it not new sha, but it manageable. Extensions are really expensive, because of that I didn't do my Christmas hair, and I cannot do more than my self, We start making the hair by 2 PM before 4 PM she was done, ah! The pain no be here oooo, from the way I keep my face and neck you will know am going through a lot, and I so much love this hair style, but I had to endure it till I come back from the occasion am attending, on my way home, I got a call from our student fellowship president calling to find out where I was so I can join him and also helped him in decorating the place, I gladly accept to follow because I don't know the venue, I was even thinking how I will locate the place sef.

He is really a God sent, I begged him to give me sometime to get home bath and dress, it took me sometime before I was able to convince this guy and he finally accept to wait for me, I hurried home had my bath again, because I was sweating, dress up and leave the house, I didn't apply makeup because I was late and someone was waiting for me, aside that am beautiful without makeup, my new hair really did a nice job on my face. I waited for him where he said I should, but he took time oooo before he arrived and we all left, because he came with other of our members. We arrived the venue and everywhere was so fine, we were not the only people organizing pinic, I saw other people's own too and it was colourful.

We had to wait for others to come, and the person with balloons and other things we will be using for the decorations came late, like things start becoming annoying, people came late, some came at night. Finally they arrive and it was remaining those that cooked, we start calling them, finally they arrive and we start by opening prayers to taking of pictures, we had different games write down to be payed but people did not come out, it was a colourful pinic, like people were shared into different colors with their leader, and they will bring a color of items that matches with their color.

Pink colour brought the most plenty items, while blue came with sweet and biscuits, white appear with cake, I was representing white color, though those representing white didn't come out but we are much, the event was boring, because tell me why this people will say they are organizing pinic but refuse to spice things up, no one wants to play games, everyone were tired of boredom, so they just decide to share the food, biscuits, sweet, wine and chocolate, I left them after eating because it was getting down already, I got home tired with hair paining me. Am about sleeping but this hair has refused me do so, so I will do the needful, see you guys tomorrow, love you all.
