According to you what is the main difference between Steem Blockchain and other social platforms?

Steem blockchain has a lot of differences from other social media platforms and I say this because I have used a lot of social media platforms before I met Steemit. The social media platforms I have used before Steemit include Facebook, WhatsApp, 2go, etc.

As you know I have used Steemit just for 5-6 months now but I can still say I have noticed a good difference between it and other platforms and I will be discussing a few of the differences here in this post.

In other social media platforms, there is no regulation and anyone can just register an account and start using it without stress but the case of the Steemit platform is not the same.

Here you need to be guided and that is why we have mentors who help to guide and train us to be able to perform our achievement task and also direct us on how to post, how to cite images correctly, and many other things. You don't just post anything on the Steemit platform whereas you can do that on other social media platforms.

So these and many more are a few of the differences I have noticed between the Steemit platform and other social media platforms.

How do you like to Promote Steem Blockchain i.e. through social media or offline meetings with people?

I promote Steemit through offline meetings. Though I'm still learning the platform I have been able to tell a few people about the platform especially those who are close to me because they have over time seen me write and also do some research.

Also, I prefer online promotion because I can be able to confidently tell people or explain how the system works and how I use the system when I have people around me. So an offline promotion is far better for me if you ask me.

What strategies would you employ to engage and retain new users once they join Steemit?

I guess the best way to keep new users in Steemit is to always give them support and encouragement. The Steemit journey at some point is not an easy one hence the only way one can be successful is when he or she gets upvoted and gets encouraged.

So if I recruit a new user today, I will try explaining the systems and also tell them it's not a get-rich-quick because they shouldn't see others' support and get frustrated. They should have the understanding and if there is a way to support I will also support them so that they will be encouraged to continue.

Promote Steem Blockchain in any of the social medplatformsorm i.e. Facebook, Instagram Twitter (X), etc. Share it with us.

This is a good initiative and thank God I have been doing this for a long period now. A lot of communities where I write make it mandatory for users to always promote their articles on Twitter.

So from the above image, you will see that I have already shared my article on Twitter as usual because I am used to it at the moment. I do this in almost all the posts I make here on the Steemit platform.
