Miscellaneous commemoration of Akbar's birthday at the mosque

Dear friends, admins, and all beloved community moderators. May we always be under His protection!

The Maulid Akbar celebration, which we held at our village mosque today, Tuesday, August 25, 2026, proceeded safely and smoothly. This Maulid Akbar commemoration was born from the initiative of the BKM committee in collaboration with all community leaders within the mosque. This is the first time we have held a Maulid Akbar like this, as I personally remember it as a BKM member.

Before the Maulid Akbar day arrived today, we, the organizing committee, had held several previous events, including competitions for children, teenagers, and adults. These competitions were born to commemorate the Maulid Akbar in 1448 Hijri.

The competitions ran from Saturday night to Monday night. The community enthusiastically and enthusiastically participated in the competitions. The various competitions included short Quran memorization and the call to prayer for children, a quiz competition for teenagers, and Tajweed recitation and Sama Dia (recitation of the Quran) for adults. The winners will be announced this evening, Tuesday, as the closing evening concludes with an Islamic sermon.

Yesterday, the entire committee slaughtered several cows for the Maulid Akbar (grand Islamic celebration). The community's enthusiasm for working together to ensure the success of this event is commendable. This year's Maulid Akbar, as the inaugural event, represents a successful start and a good starting point for future years.

Today's Maulid Akbar celebration proceeded smoothly and safely. The celebration was punctuated by the recitation of dhikr (remembrance of God) from the villages within the mosque. The series of Maulid Akbar activities concluded with the time for the Dhuhr prayer. Late-arriving guests were still welcomed by providing a simple feast.

The events of this year's Maulid Akbar are not over yet. Tonight, Tuesday night, the celebration will conclude with an Islamic sermon, along with the announcement and distribution of prizes to all competition participants.
