We must admit that education continues to evolve. As time passes and science and technology advance, the world of education increasingly adapts. Education never stops evolving due to the demands of the times.
The educational revolution is a rapid and radical transformation process in teaching and learning methods triggered by digital technology and the demands of the industrial era. This change focuses on broader access to education, flexible curricula, and the development of students' skills and character.
Long before technology existed, we have certainly heard stories that education in ancient times was very traditional, even writing on stone using iron nails. This was indeed the case at that time, considering the undeveloped era, especially the absence of technology.
Today, education is very easy to obtain and access. Thanks to the support of digital technology and skilled educators, much has changed in education over time and with the advancement of technology. Education is always evolving, such as:
1. Method Shift
A shift from teacher-centered lecture methods to collaborative, active, and technology-based learning.
2. Digital Technology Support
Using artificial intelligence, the internet, and a combination of online and offline to enhance the learning experience.
3. Efficient Curriculum
The curriculum is always developed according to educational needs, taking into account increasing digital literacy, equitable infrastructure, and teacher training.
4. Educational Goals
The primary goal of education is, of course, to produce a generation that is ready to face the future, has strong character, is able to think critically, and has noble morals.
The educational revolution certainly requires synergy between the government, schools, and society to adapt to changing times and technological developments.
