Greetings to the great people of this community, I hope I met you well, and that you had a productive day.

I am glad to participate in this contest organized by @abdullahw2 on such an amazing topic urging us all to promote steemit. Which is an amazing idea. But before I start engaging on the contest questions, I'd love to invite my friends @loolluv @yaladeeds @eveetim to come share their views as well. I remain your girl @tripple-e.

According to you what is the main difference between Steem Blockchain and other social platforms?

The main difference between steem Blockchain and other social media platforms is on how they reward their users and content creators.

Let's look at steem Blockchain first;

Steem Blockchain is a beautiful platform that rewards its users for creating quality and valuable contents thereby using steem also to motivate users through cryptocurrency rewards either by voting on posts that is (curations) and commenting. And a user can also earn or be rewarded by moderating. So you can simply sit at the comfort of your home; making your phone or system your office and share your knowledge and ideas by creating valuable contents and gets paid for it. How amazing that is!.
Note: On steemit platform; hard work pays, don't forget that.

Platforms do not reward their users directly for creating any type of post or content and engaging on the platforms, but they instead earn and make their profits from users data and engagement. So instead of the users to take something home(money) they are loosing while they are receiving alert every second.

How do you like to Promote Steem Blockchain i.e through social media or offline meeting with people?

The best way one can promote steem Blockchain would depend on your target audience, your resources and what you stand to achieve. So on that note, I'd love to experiment both the offline and social media and see how both would yield fruits or results.

What strategies would you employ to engage and retain new users once they join Steemit?

• One of the strategies I would employ in order to retain new users on the platform is that I would help connect them to the steemit community by highlighting the most active communities and also encourage them to join in any contests and engagement challenge organized by those communities. And also advise them to make friends within the community.That is what my mentor did for me too. And I will also be very friendly to them.

• Another strategy I'll use is to plead with the already established users to vote and comment meaningful on the posts of the new users, by that it will create a welcoming environment and make them improve on their content Creativity.

• Lastly I'll create a forum, it could be a WhatsApp group where new users can come and ask questions and get help on any issues bothering them from the Steemit platform.

Recently steemit team has made it as one of the criteria for you to get any support, you must promote your posts on Twitter. So one won't have any choice than to do their bidding if you must stay relevant on the platform.
