Here, after all the preparations has been made by the bride's family; from food, drinks, chewables and lots more. The groom's family and all the guests arrives.

Here, the spokesmen (MC) from both families (bride's and groom's) introduces all members of their families starting from the parents to siblings and other relatives.

Here, the bride's family will entertain their visitors with drinks, food and more (It is a tradition to Welcome your visitors with open arms, water, food, drinks, chewables and more before asking your visitors questions because he or she might be thirsty or hungry).

Here, after being entertained, the groom's family will break the kola with a knife and declare their intentions to the bride's family about their son's intentions to ask for their daughter's hand in marriage. This is not done with empty hands, this is done with an expensive hot drinks. There after, the groom's family will present gifts such as tubers of Yam, stick of fishes, hot drinks, Matchet, spade and more.

Here, the bride is called out and presented to her in-laws by her father to be sure she is actually the one they came for. The groom will be called out too to declare his intentions to his bride and officially ask her to marry him in the present of everyone present and the bride will affirm that she's ready to marry him.

Here, the bride and groom kneels down to receive blessings from the bride's parents and relatives and also from groom's parents and relatives. After comes closing remarks and photo session.

Here, the bride and groom will take photos with both parents and relatives, friends and love ones. Congratulations to my friend and I hope you learnt something new.
