I understand your thoughts, but I am deeply convinced that we (worldwide) certainly do not need more weapons, but fewer. All the money and effort that you put into armament and militarisation is lost to you in terms of solving important problems...

As I said, I understand your thinking and the desire behind it. But virtually all nations (with the exception of those that have completely dispensed with their own military) are subject to precisely this error in reasoning – this induces a perpetual arms race. Everyone wants to be able to face the other with adequate military strength.
Yes ma'am. The stronger the military power of a country, the more peaceful its people live. For example, the European Union, America, China, North Korea, they do not have to use any weapons. Only because they have power, their people live in peace. I want ma'am, the people of my country to live in peace. This is my wish.
