It beats me when we think we need a soft life that takes our peace away.

Everybody wants to have a soft life, but only a few people actually sit back to examine what a soft life is.

If one's life is soft without a satisfying peace of mind, then that person is in trouble.

Just like we want to have the good things of this world, we must acquire them in the right way.

And one of those ways is knowing if what you think as being soft aligns with the kind of person you're becoming in God.

Sometimes, all we need is a peaceful life, whether soft or not. As long as it keeps you out of trouble, protects your integrity, and helps you grow stronger in Christ, then you're on the right track.

But anything that pulls you away from Christ, makes you stay in constant competition with others, and makes you think less of yourself always, then that softness won't last.

It's best to have a peaceful life, which can actually be soft, than an empty soft life.
