Have you gone to the park lately my friends? I went yesterday and it was something else. I couldn't visit the village during Christmas season so I decide to go back this new year so as to see my mum and my siblings over there. I missed my kinsmen.

Today's article is basically my experience at the park. I took my luggages down to Ebonyi park but when I went there, something terrible happened that I was so angry at first. I got there and I paid for my ticket so that I could return to my village. One of my bags were missing within a twinkle of an eye, I was still searching for the one that was missing and then I noticed that the wallet I was carrying was no where to be found, this was strange to me.

Frustrated me

I know some agberos can be in the park but I never had an idea that they can be this smart. I reported the case to the park authority and told them of my ordeals, they asked me to go and relax that they will get them for me. I took the remaining luggages and went to one place and sat down. I was praying that my wallet should be retrieved because that's where my ATM to my major bank was.

Within some minutes, the park official came to me and ask me what and what was inside the wallet, I told him and then he confirmed from the wallet he was holding and gave it back to me. I was so happy that I didn't even care if the other luggage would be retrieved or not. I appreciated the man and he assured me that the other luggage will be retrieved before my bus moves out of the park.

I wasn't really sure of what he said but while I was still there, he came back with the luggage, this time I was so overjoyed, he told me I should be very careful with my things that there are some miscreants in the park that their only duty is to steal from people. I parked everything and went and handed them to the driver then went to where my seat number was.

I was reflecting to the extent of which unemployment and illiteracy could cause in a sane state like Ebonyi. I felt really bad for those boys because I know the officials will beat them. I wish there is some sort of awareness that will sensitize these people on the dangers of stealing and making other people feel hurt.

I entered the bus when it was about moving and I was happy returning back to the village to see my mother, siblings and kinsmen. The journey was a smooth one guys and I arrived my hometown veery safe.

Ended up happy

I will share how my stay in the village is going, because it's been one of the best here for me. The whole place is friendly and I miss this place since I went out for greener pastures in a far away land.

RESPECT TO EVERYONE
