Femi was a doctor who recently moved to the Oboho community because of lack of medical personnel in the community's hospital. According to doctors who had previously been posted there, the community was a dangerous place to reside in.

So when Femi's friend heard he was going to accept being transferred there, they all tried to talk him out of it. But Femi had always believed that one man could make a difference.

“Have you guys even thought about what would happen if none of us refuse to go work at that community? They would have no one to look after their pregnant wives or injured siblings”. Femi continued. “The next hospital is kilometers away from that community, someone with a gunshot wound would be dead long before they even get there and that is because we were coward enough to not want to work there”. Femi said to his friends before walking out.

Few days later he was on his way to his new place of residence. He had been introduced to the nurses and had been filled in with the necessary details. Everything seemed fine until one evening when Femi was on his way home. The community had no bus station so he had to wait for a motorcycle to come pick him up.

But just as he was waiting, some guys walked up to him and threatened him with a gun. They took his wallet and every other valuable thing he had on him, including his phone and wristwatch. After they were gone Femi had no other choice but to walk back to the hospital. He had no money on him to pay for the motorcycle ride home so going back to the hospital was the only option.

When he got to the hospital, he explained everything to the nurses who felt bad for him. They offered to pay for his transportation back home but Femi thought it was already too late, going home by this time possesses a greater more risk.

"What if another set of robbers apprehended him on his way home and killed him simply because he had nothing to give to them due to the fact that all of his valuables had been stolen by the first set of criminals". So Femi thanked them for their generosity and went into his office.

About two hours after that, a man was rushed into the hospital with a gunshot wound and Femi rushed towards him but stopped for a second. He recognized the man as one of the robbers who had robbed him hours ago and with the look on the man's face, he was sure the man recognized him too.

The man probably thought he was done for, seeing that the man he had robbed was the same person he was relying on to save his life but Femi was a doctor, a good doctor whose duty was to save lives, so he immediately got to work.

Few days later after the man was discharged, he brought back everything that had been taken from Femi on the night of the robbery and then he promised Femi that never will anyone disturb him in the community again. He was now a friend of theirs and they were going to make sure he was safe.
