Why is it impossible to know a loved one without pride?

How are you all? I hope you are having a good day. Sometimes there are times in our lives when we feel very alone or tired of the complexity of relationships. At one such moment, I wanted to share a saying stuck in the depths of my mind with you. The saying is— "Without pride, one cannot know one's own people. And pride helps one to know one's own people."

We all probably feel the depth of this sentence more or less. In fact, the word 'pride' is very strange. It is not anger, nor is it hatred; it is a silent demand of intense love. Do we pride ourselves on everyone? Absolutely not. We never pride ourselves on those over whom we have no rights, on whom we have no expectations. Pride arises only in those whom we consider to be the closest person to our heart.

Keeping this in mind, I have written a poem today, mixing the sweetness of my mind, which may touch some corner of your heart.

The arrogant mirror

A kind of black cloud gathered in the crowd of unspoken words,
Arrogance means a silent emotion flowing in the heart.
The one who loves the most has the right to it,
That little bit of anger only walks in the hearts of people you know.

Arrogance is not a separation; it is the name of a deep wait,
Where the true value of that beloved person can be found.
The one who understands the language of the mind by listening to the tone of the voice,
The one who only seeks a way to return to the crowd of misunderstanding and move away.

Without arrogance, it is not possible to know who is in the heart and who is only by the side.
The truth of love smiles at the demand for a little right.
So let arrogance be the bridge that connects all the gaps in the heart,
This little bit of arrogance comes when we recognize our own people.

Actually, life is very short, and in this short life, we often make mistakes while trying to match the equations of relationships. I personally think that pride is a kind of filter in relationships. When we stop talking out of pride or move away a little, then we understand how important we are to someone.

A person who cannot understand your silence will never learn to respect your words. On the other hand, a person who understands the tears or unspoken words hidden behind your pride is your true self. We often see pride negatively, but to be honest, this pride alone tells us how permanent a person's place is in our lives.

Without pride, love becomes mechanical. There is no demand, no tension. So if there is someone in your life who carefully indulges your unreasonable pride, then you will know that you are one of the happiest people in the world. This little test of knowing your own person sometimes becomes very important, so that we can recognize the real diamonds in the crowd. At the end of the day, pride not only increases distance but also plays a unique role in increasing the depth of relationships. Everyone will be fine. Keep your loved ones close.
