Why we should always Forgive.
In this life, we will definitely meet a whole lot of different people. Some of them will play a crucial in helping our life and to some if we are not careful, they might lead to our lives been destroyed. In any way it comes, there are people we will meet as lessons and there are some we will meet as blessings.
There are situations whereby some people will actually do some crazy things to us that will really get us pained that we might at first find it quite difficult to forgive them. In fact In some situations we might not even forgive them and then have to live in that unforgiveness for so many years to come.
Forgiveness is the act every one of us must learnt to actually practice if we actually want to be at peace every single time. Now like I said, I understand that it might actually be difficult to do so most especially when you see that things are not working the way you want. You have actually try to let those people go but you keep remembering the scars they have caused in your life and you might be actually thinking it is unfair. Yes I am here to tell you that no matter what you can still forgive.
If God can actually command you to forgive and let go, then you should learn to let go and forgive no matter how it may be. It might not look like it is worth it at the beginning most especially when you consider that which the person has done to you but for the peace of your mind, I will always always learn to let go and forgive. The best thing you can ever do is to forgive and forget and let go no matter what they might have done.
There are period in my life that people have really offended me. I mean serious offence and I have actually vowed never to forgive them because of what they did or what they have done. It was actually so severely then because even though I want to forgive them, I keep reminding or seeing the scar of their wound in my life making it quite difficult for me to actually let go. At the end of the day, I have no other choice but to actually let go.
Now this is where the point is, at that time I was at first thinking it is not necessarily for me to forgive them but as time goes on, I begin to discover that it seems I have been caged in the unforgiveness because there is nothing I actually want to do, I feel this unrest and can't feel peace deep within me. At the end of the day, I need to let them go and forgive even though it was not actually easy for me at that particular time.
The word "forgiveness" is easy to say but practicing it is not easy.
