No one knows when danger will strike.
No one can predict when danger will come. Just as human life is made up of a mixture of joy and sorrow, nature is sometimes peaceful and sometimes fierce. A few days ago, an incident happened in our life that even today, when I remember it, waves of sorrow flow through my heart. That morning, the sky was heavy. Black clouds covered everything. Sometimes a light wind blew and with it rained. The trees around our village had a different beauty soaked in rain water. But none of us could understand the unexpected danger that was hidden behind that beauty.
There was a beautiful mango tree next to our yard. The tree was not just a tree but a part of many memories of our family. Every year, the tree was filled with countless mangoes. This time too was no exception, the branches of the tree were filled with unripe mangoes. We were all waiting for those mangoes to slowly ripen and turn yellow and we could eat them. The rain was still falling when suddenly a sound startled us all. There was a loud bang. I ran outside and saw a huge branch of a mango tree broken and lying on the ground. Surprisingly, there was not even a strong storm. The branch broke in a light breeze. Hundreds of unripe mangoes were scattered on the ground along with that branch. Seeing the scene broke our hearts. The mangoes that we had been waiting for for so long were ruined in a moment. The whole family stood silent for a while, feeling as if we had suffered a great loss.
My daughter was crying profusely after seeing the branch of the tree break. No one could have imagined that such an incident would happen. However, after a while, we realized that Allah's plan is better than human plans. No matter how much we suffer, there is definitely some good hidden in what Allah does. Maybe there was a lesson for us in this incident. Nothing in life is permanent, and happiness and sorrow are all tests from Allah. It was painful to see the mangoes scattered under the broken branch, but that suffering taught us to be patient.
That day we learned that danger never comes unexpectedly, so we have to thank Allah in good times and be patient in bad times. Even today, when we remember that rainy day, the sight of broken branches and scattered unripe mangoes comes to mind. It hurts, but at the same time we remember that whatever Allah does, He does it for the good, surely Allah is the best planner. Therefore, trusting in Him in every situation of life is our greatest strength.
