The Diary Game: Unable To Go To Church Because Of Work (14|12|2025)

Hello, my friends, how are you holding up? Today, I couldn't go to church because I had morning duty at work. I couldn't go to church, so I was at work in the morning. I went there early, around 7am in the morning.

I was still carrying out my duty while my boss was at the reception. I don't even know what made him come to the office today, I think maybe he was bored or he just needed where to go out to. I continued with what I was doing till I was hungry then I went to the kitchen to go and eat.

After eating, I left the kitchen and came back to continue with what I was doing so that I can round up quickly. You know, anytime my boss is at work, he would want to send you on different errands at the same time but it's okay, I understand him.

The line telephones wanted to frustrate me today, I don't even know what happened that both of them, their battery went dead at the same time and there was no extra battery here. It was still getting to afternoon and there was no shop that would open at that time. It was really frustrating that I had to remove their batteries and dried them on the sun and then put them back so that I can receive calls from customers.

After work, I went back to the house to go and rest after such a frustrating day. I got back home and not even my landlord knew that I was back home, more like I sneaked into the house and was just waiting for church service to finish so that I can go out and buy what I will take for dinner.

When I heard that people had began to come back home from church, I went outside and I met these little kids that happened to be my Landlord's children peeling melon from the shell. It's so long I saw these, I only buy grounded melon and I can imagine the stress that comes with sitting for hours and peeling melon. One of the kids wasn't even happy, you can see from his facial expression.

When I left them, I went to the market and bought meat. I wasn't ready to cook soup so I bought goat meat to come and cook pepper soup and rice. That, I will eat for a full day, at least it will take me till Monday evening, I might decide to eat my breakfast tomorrow at work.

I really wanted to snap the entire process but my phone's battery was very low ,so what I did was to go and pay then charge the phone while I come back to cook. After cooking, I ate then I waited for while to go get my phone so that I can use it this evening. Thank you so much for your time my friends.
