Water is life as living things need water to survive. Let me a little experience I had back then during my childhood about drinking water. Growing up in a rural area, we mostly rely on rain water and water from well. At some point a young boy was discovered lifeless inside the well which makes the well water forbidden to drink and the well was blocked. So the people came up with an idea to get a drinking water by digging a big hole in the forest close to swamp area. The hole was big enough as they place a big tree trunk across it so that if someone wants to fetch, he or she can safely fetch without falling into it.
Guest the funny part? Almost everyone in the village depends on this water as there were a queue lining up to fetch. As a result of that my parents usually go there at 3am in the morning so that before day break they would have filled their containers with water.
At that time we also depend on rain water as we make sure we put out our basin anytime rain is failing. When I was reading people's comments I come across this user, @ayesha0018 comment and I quoted:
"But now the sources are decreasing , River water are not know drinkable because of seaverage (derange)water of cities are mixing with rivers. And under ground water are becoming undrinkable due to commercial reverse boring. People have to buy water for drinking."
Imagined even pure water as it's claimed of being pure are now sold at 3 for N100. How do people get cleaned water to drink? The natural sources are no longer reliable as we humans have use pollution and harmful chemicals to pollute the atmosphere. But nevertheless, ensure to drink water everyday and mind your business.
@wakeupkitty,what do you think about drinking water?
