The Diary Game [18/11/25] : First Day Of School

On the 18th day of November 2025, I resumed school after getting admission in the first week of this month. I was very happy to get the opportunity to resume that day which was among the days in the second week of resumption and it was a very stressful day for me but I achieved my goal. Walk with me as I tell you the complete activities of that day.

Morning Period

In the morning I prepared myself for school making sure that I don't forget anything at home. I planned to meet with someone that is processing my clearance so that he can give me some receipts of payments I made before that day. I boarded a bus to school which is very far from my home as the journey is often one hour. I arrived at the school premises and took the receipts from him then he took me to where I'm going to conclude my change of course of process.

We entered the school shuttle to the place and after I was shown the particular place in the school's ICT center that I was going to conclude my change of course process which was the thumbprinting stage. There was a queue, a sitting one and I had to wait patiently for my turn. I spent alot of time there and I chatted with my coursemate I met online and we planned to meet for the first time immediately after I leave the ICT center.

It finally got to my turn and I was so glad. I told the man in charge my registration number and my face and other details appeared in the other computer after he wrote my registration number in the space provided. I told him the course I was changing to which is Chemistry since that was the course the school offered to give me after I didn't reach the school's cutoff mark for Medical Laboratory Science my initial course. Immediately I concluded the process I headed straight to my faculty.

Afternoon Period

My faculty is Faculty of Science, I called my coursemate again and we finally met after he gave me a direction of where he was waiting for me. I asked him when we were going to have the next lecture he said he doesn't know yet that he hasn't seen any of our coursemates yet. After he said that I quickly knew there's a big task ahead of me.

We had to walk round the school searching for our coursemates. Sometimes we will stop and ask some students politely about the department they are and we weren't seeing anyone from chemistry department. We kept on seeing students from law, engineering, microbiology, medical laboratory science, medicine and so on. We sat at a place for a while and continue searching again.

Our goal was to meet our coursemates then get directed to our course rep so that the person can add us to our departmental WhatsApp platform and get informations from there as well as the timetable. We finally came across a girl from our department and she took our phone numbers so that she will forward it to our course rep to add us to the WhatsApp platform.

Evening Period

We asked her about where we were going to hold the next class and she said she doesn't know yet. She left after sometime and there was a particular location we saw in the timetable for our next class because she sent us the timetable after forwarding our numbers to the course rep. We went to the location and discovered the students in the classroom weren't our coursemates but they were learning exactly the same course in our timetable and they are all 100 level students.

I told my friend that we should just learn with them even if they aren't our coursemates so that we won't end up not learning anything that day. He agreed and we entered inside the classroom and found a seat to sit on. That was when a woman who we felt is the Lecturer, was approaching the classroom. I took a picture of someone's note because I couldn't write everything that moment due to one or two distractions and after the class my friend and I continued searching for our coursemates again.

My friend left, saying that his dad said he should get back home on time because they have someone to go that evening. I was now alone and I was happy when I saw the girl that gave us the timetable. She took me to where our course rep was and he added me to the WhatsApp platform. I was very happy that I achieved my goal for that day and at the end of the day I went home happily and I prepared for the next day.
