The Diary Game: Donating Blood To My Sister/ Spending Monday In The Hospital ||12-01-2026||

It's okay that some days might not really be how we want it to be but at the same time, we need to be grateful for the gift of everyday. I was called from sleep earlier on Monday morning that my sister blood was very low, she needed someone to donate blood to her or someone to pay for blood in the blood bank. I went straight to the hospital because my blood group is O+ and it matches with her blood as well, so they bled me.

When they bled me, I was just happy that my own blood group could match with her and if not for anything, I have saved someone's life and not just some random person but my own blood sister. When I was done with donating the blood, I was asked to rest small and then fruits was being brought so I could eat and regain strength.

When I finished, I went and sat at where the people coming to see their patients were. I waited there and then one nurse came in and took me to my sister's ward because I wanted to see her. When I got there, the nurse was still attending to her. I guess they were still testing her so that the blood will be transfused into her. I waited for him to be done so that I can go and meet her.

When I met her, she told me she was so grateful that I donated blood to her, for me it was nothing as long as it was for her. This my sister has been my major backbone from when I was still very young, she has played a motherly role even till now in my life and I do not joke with her for whatever reason.

When she was about to be given the blood, I left so that she can rest. When I left, I went out to go and buy food to eat and also buy for her because I knew she will be hungry when the blood finished. I left the hospital and then went to the restaurant and bought food.

When I finished eating my own food, I took the take-away to the hospital, I gave it to her and left the hospital to quickly go and give my workers cash so that they can use since it was evening already and that cash would also be enough for Tuesday's transaction.

When I came back to the hospital, they gave me this card, I don't even know what this is for. I had to take a selfie with it. I went and checked on my sister randomly and then I asked for where to bath, they showed me and I took my bath and returned back to the reception.

In the night, I went outside to stay so that fresh air will touch me, and yes, this was where I slept because I didn't like the smell of the maternity ward. I slept outside waiting for my sister's husband to come back so I could go back home but he came late and I couldn't leave.

I spent the rest of my night in the hospital, it's been a day of rollercoaster of emotions and all of that but I am still grateful to God for each day and also for my sister's life.
