Market place with reptiles and frogs like that I have never witnessed, still prefer them free than locked up like that, interesting to see the variety you find in your location.
I imagine most of these are imported or bred locally. Korea has cold winters and the native speices are hiding right now.
Some of the turtles and frogs for sale were native species. You are right, I would just rather visit. I would even donate a reasonable amount of money to visit.
International trade of wildlife should be stopped, more emphasis placed on looking after what we have locally. Sadly you see the decline in animals with humans using more land.
